Compensating strong coupling with large charge (東京)

Abstract

I will present new results (partially from work in progress) that display a qualitatively different behavior from the one observed in the simpler examples discussed earlier. I will discuss the large-N behavior of the O(2N) vector model at large charge, the O(4) vector model with fixed charges leading to a ground-state with a spatial dependence, and finally SCFTs at large R-charge with a one-dimensional Coulomb branch.
