The large N effective potential from large charge (Ascona)

Abstract

Working in sectors of large global charge leads to important simplifications when studying strongly coupled CFTs. After an introduction to the method I will show how the large-charge expansion can be used to compute the large-N effective potential for the vector model in any dimension, for finite values of the couplings.
